All Bio-Trac Remote Instruction Workshops are team taught by researchers in a synchronous format featuring live lecture, laboratory protocol review, laboratory demonstration, hands-on in silico laboratory sessions (when appropriate) and discussion groups. All attendees receive electronic copies of all handouts, complete laboratory protocols, as well as additional reference material. In 2021, Bio-Trac will resume our hands-on laboratory training workshops for research scientists at the Bioscience Education Center’s state-of-the-art facility in Germantown, Maryland.

Workshop Location – In person workshops will resume sometime in 2021

All workshops are conducted at the Bioscience Education Center (BEC), located on the Montgomery College campus in Germantown, MD. The BEC is a 1 ½ year old “state of the art” facility containing 25 training labs, equipped with the latest laboratory technology as well as utilizing modern classroom teaching tools.
